Seven Heaven Tips
for Cracking the Error Identification Part
1. Read the whole sentence to see the overall picture.
2. Identify the main subject(s) and the main verb(s).
3. Use what is not underlined as a clue.
4. Cross out choices that do not seem wrong.
5. Translate a little bit, just to check the logic.
6. If the question is about some particular event, the tense should be the past tense. If the question is
about some general event, the tense should be the present tense.
7. If everything seems to be correct, check the preposition(s) and the word(s).
