Dr. Virachai Techavijit, Founder and Chairman, Regent’s International School presided over the official opening ceremony of the first Round Square Globally Accessible Conference in Bangkok in the company of honoured guests on Saturday, 7 April 2018 at the Regent’s International School Bangkok.
The participants are 147 students aged 14 - 15 years along with 48 teachers from 30 Round Square schools around the world. The delegates and staff are from UK, USA, Australia, India, Kenya, Denmark, Oman, Tanzania, China, Canada, South Africa, Japan, Hong Kong and Thailand.
Standing in for the President of the Round Square Organisation, His Majesty King Constantine II, are Mr. Rod Fraser, Chairman and Ms Rachael Westgarth, CEO of the Round Square.
The objective of this students-led conference is to allow these selected young students to be involved in various Round Square activities. In multicultural groups they practice the 6 Round Square principles to become well rounded leaders for the future. After the return to their schools, these young leaders will lead their peers at home in the same kind of activities and no doubt yield many positive results.
